Kevin Johnson's comments on SB-54, the state sanctuary law featured in KPCC. The Los Alamitos city council voted 4-1 Monday night to move towards exempting the city from SB 54, the so-called state sanctuary law that restricts police cooperation with immigration agents. 

Kevin said, "SB 54 is designed to leave it to the federal government to deal with immigration enforcement, and keep the state as far out of it as possible."
