Caitlin Patler received UC Davis Academic Senate Faculty Research Grant. The Faculty Distinguished Research Award is the highest honor the Davis Division of the Academic Senate accords its members.

Its purpose is to acknowledge faculty whose work has been transformative to their field. The award recipient shares their innovative work with the entire campus community through a public lecture. The 2018 Faculty Distinguished Research lecture will be given by the award recipient in conjunction with a combined Academic Senate and Academic Federation awards reception, during the Spring Quarter, 2018. The lecture will be on a topic of the award recipient’s choice.
